Bible Basis: I Chronicles 17:1,3-4, 11-14; 21:18, 21-27

Bible Truth: David wants to build a house for God; God promises to build a dynasty for David.


Memory Verse: “And it shall come to pass, when thy days be expired that thou must go to be with thy fathers, that I will raise up thy seed after thee, which shall be of thy sons; and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build me an house, and I will stablish his throne for ever.” I Chronicles 17:11-12


Lesson AIM: That we will CONTRAST the house David wanted to build for God with the “house” that God promised to build for David; EXPRESS gratitude that God’s plans are greater than our plans; and REPENT for sin.
