Some of my viewers like nickel iron batteries! Very interesting. I see their point as being a "forever" battery. That is a cool feature. I was not trying to "bash" on these batteries. I gave them a good chance and was not impressed at all, personally. Also, round trip efficiency for newly manufactured, and well taken care of cells can be 80%, and I stand corrected:

Iron Edison company, which seems to be the "best" nickel iron battery around... sells lifepo4 batteries now! haha!
My sources:
Just the hydrogen and maintenance alone make me cringe at these batteries. If I want high cycle count, temperature resilience, depth of discharge robustness etc, I would go with LTO. But I imagine my LiFePO4 cells will work well by the time solid state batteries come out. Anywho, I will try to get my hands on a single cell so we can do a capacity test. That would be super fun.
