1959|1961 Dave Brubeck Quartet - Blue Rondo A La Turk (45 single version)

Like the well-known ‘A-side’ “Take Five,” this had first appeared in 1959 in a longer version for the LP “Time Out” as well as having also been issued on a 45 single that year in this shorter form. The album and single eventually grew in favor until both of them became popular mainstream best-sellers in ‘61 (the LP spent over three years on Billboard’s album chart).
