wow it took me such a long time and frenzy to get this up I was excited about publishing (and did so without writing my letter)
dear friend,
I am super hungry so forgive me for my brief greeting. For anyone wondering why Bambi has a cone- it is for his own protection! He has an unfortunate case of chronic too-much earwax, and three trips to different vets have concluded that I must maintain a regular cleaning routine for his ears, and he will not need to scratch at them anymore. He's had a bad habit over the last six months, and would compulsively scratch extremely hard and bleed lots. The scabs also make cleaning difficult and scary for him, so the cone has allowed all the wounds to heal (yay!) and now I let him off the cone periodically (it wasn't on camera this week though) and he seems to be recovering steadily.
I had a really relaxing time this winter session. It's my first term not taking an art studio, and just a lit elective (creative writing). Although it will be over in a week, I still got several days in my hands so as I mentally prepare for my (VERY LAST) spring semester of school, I want to savor all this peace and chill time! Please let me know any thoughts in the comments. Although I haven't been responding often lately, it warms my heart to know what you've been up to. Just know that I really appreciate your time, so thank you for reading this.
