Does everyone remember Ryan, our combine mechanic? If not, that is okay because he is in a majority of this video. Every year, after harvest, Ryan comes down to blow off our 2001 Case IH 2388 combine with his industrial air compressor and then proceeds to inspect the machine. The video starts with me pulling the combine out for Ryan to blow off. While Ryan was blowing off the combine, I cleaned the shop. Once I got done cleaning the shop, Ryan started inspecting the combine. In the video he tells us some of the things he is looking for as well as some of the things he found wrong with the combine. After Ryan wrote down a list of parts for the combine, we were able to start tearing into our 2005 Bobcat T-190 skid loader.
Two days ago a rat got caught in belts on the skid loader and did damage to a pulley and the belt. We had to replace both of these items. While we had the skid loader apart we decided to tackle an electrical issue (which ended up being a broken wire), and we changed the oil in the final drives. In order to change the oil on the final drives, the tracks had to be removed, as well as the rear gears. We are all rookies when it comes to taking the tracks off, so it took us a little while to get it figured out. Once we got them off, we changed the oil, and called it a night.
