In this repair video we will be working on an ipad pro 9.7" that was mailed in for no display no backlight repair. After fixing the backlight circuit on the ipad pro tablet, we realized the screen was still not coming on and tablet was charging at a very low rate 0.12amps and board was not turning on. We replaced the battery and after doing so the tablet was charging normally at 1.1 amps and the cpu turned on as tested on the thermal cam. Let's go ahead and work on this ipad pro and see what is causing black or no display.
