Here's the short answer: When it comes to booking trips, the actual logistics---going into a supplier portal and plugging in the traveler info---isn’t radically different from the way a traveler books her own trip online. If you’ve done it as a traveler, you can do it fairly easily as a travel advisor as well. That said, there is more (waaaay more) to consider when you're booking as a travel agent.
