Join Dr. Mark Haywood and get a taste of quality seminary education at Grace School of Theology. The Principles of Biblical Interpretation course is a directed study on the principles of the literal-grammatical-historical (L-G-H) system of biblical interpretation, with guided practice in using those principles in interpreting representative Passages. Its goal is for students to be able to unpack the meanings and concepts in the Bible as they identify the historical context and literary genres by analyzing it with the right tools. Ultimately, the course aims for students to recognize and accomplish the chief goal of Bible study— to change lives in accordance with God’s Word and to fall deeper in love with Him.
