Signs You Are Too Nice in Relationships and Need to Start Putting Yourself First

Signs You Are Too Nice in Relationships and Need to Start Putting Yourself First Signs you are too nice include attracting abusive relationships, exhaustion and the fear of saying no. When you are too nice in relationships you need to start learning how to put yourself first. When you are too nice, you can take on the responsibilities of others. Being too nice is a sign that you lack boundaries. If you are a people pleaser, caretaker or someone who struggles with codependency, your well being may be in jeopardy.

Learning to love yourself and honor yourself helps you live a more authentic life. In this video, I discuss some of the signs that suggest you are too nice and that you need to be more honest with how you are showing up in your relationships.

When we are too nice we can be rejected by healthy people. We do not realize we are rejecting the self when we are too nice. If you want to learn how to stop letting people walk all over you, you must learn how to stop being so nice. When you are too nice, you attract takers and abusive people who want to walk all over you.

People pleasers tend to be too nice. Those with people pleaser syndrome acquiesce and fawn over others even when they've done nothing wrong. Learning to have more self confidence will allow you to learn how to set boundaries. If you struggle with codependency, it may be difficult for you to stop being too nice, but with practice you can develop a growth mindset, work on your personal development and become more self confident.

Our mental health is compromised when we are too nice and we allow people to walk all over us. Healing codependency, people pleaser syndrome, relies on your ability to start putting yourself first.

Are you afraid of disappointing others? Do you take on other's responsibilities? Do you say yes when you mean no? Do you avoid conflict? If you answered yes to these questions then you might be too nice for your own good.
