IOT based smart prison system: Smart building is any structure that uses automated processes to automatically control the building operations including heating ventilation, air conditioning , lighting, security and other systems.
Indian prisons face long-standing structural constraints: overcrowding, due to a high percentage of under trials in the prison population, understaffing and underfunding. The inevitable outcome is sub-human living conditions, improper health care system, poor hygiene, and violent clashes between the inmates and jail authorities.
Now the prisons are associated with high walls, bars and locked doors, but it takes more than just physical barriers to create a safe, secure environment for staff and inmates.
