Police accused of burning traditional shrines in Lwengo District The Uganda human rights commission has started investigating reports that the police has been allegedly destroying and burning property and shrines belonging to traditional healers in Lwengo district. One of the transitional healers Mariam Namaganda logged a complaint to the commission over the misconduct of police after her shrine in Nkoni village, Kkingo sub-county, in Lwengo district was burnt prompting the commission to take this step#NTVNews
