Sannas are spongy steamed savoury rice cakes. Are very popular In Goan, Mangalore in Karnataka and some parts in Kerala and in the East Indian community in Bombay.
In Goa Sanas are cooked for weddings, festivals and auspicious occasions.
Main ingredients are Toddy, Coconut and Rice, and a steamer Traditionally called Chodor, rarely people has nowadays.
