A person quarantined on Christmas Island has been tested for coronavirus

A child quarantined on Christmas Island has undergone tests after developing symptoms of coronavirus, but the Deputy Chief Medical Officer says at this stage there is no cause for alarm.

If the tests are positive, she would be the first person in the group of 300 being quarantined on the island to be diagnosed with the disease.
