Trump says U.S. prepared for war with Iran; backs off claim that cultural sites will be targeted

In a meeting with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Jan. 7, U.S. President Donald Trump commented on the conflict with Iran.

Trump stated that the U.S. military would not be attacking Iranian cultural sites because he likes "to obey the law," which is a backtrack from previous tweets he made claiming his administration would consider targeting those sites.

Additionally, he said that the U.S. is prepared to attack Iran if the situation comes down to it.
