Roles and songs that were meant primarily for Jennifer, but she refused them

Roles and songs that were meant primarily for Jennifer, but she refused them Jennifer Lopez is a triple threat entertainer: she is a singer, actress and dancer. She is a legend twice nominated to most important music brange awards (Grammy) and twice nominated for Golden Globes for her roles in Selena and Hustlers. However, there are several hit movies and hit songs that were originally meant for Lopez, but for several reasons, they ended up with someone else making them. I regret she didn't end with performing above songa and movies cause I can see Jennifer in everything one of these.

SONGS:
*Come and Get It- released in May of 2013 hit Selena Gomez song was primarily meant for Rihanna 2011 Talk That Talk album. When RiRi refused the song, the label was considering to giving the song to Jennifer Lopez who lately came back to the top with her Love? Album back in 2011. The song didn't get finally to JLo, however, a week after Selena Gomez released her biggest hit to date "Come and Get It" Jennifer released another 2013 massive hit, which was "Live it Up"

*One Thing-Amerie- at the beggining, the single promoting JLo's 4th studio album "Rebirth" was intented to have different 1st single. It was One Thing. The record label was going to give the future hit song to Jennifer Lopez, because the label treated more famous singers like Beyonce or Jennifer better than the less popular ones. Amerie loved the songs and didn't want to allow the label to give away her favourite song so she released it and played it on radio, before the label was able to take away the hit from her. In these circumstances, the record company took away the Usher's song titled "Ride", changed the title into "Get Right" and put it on "Rebirth". The song became even bigger hit than "One Thing" worldwide, insted of USA, where the song gained 8th place on Billboard Hot 100, whereas Get right came barely to 12th position.

*Slave 4 U- the massive outrageous hit song from the late of 2001 wasn't at the beggining intented for 19 years old Britney. Producers had seen Janet Jackson more in this song, but 35 years old diva thought that the song didn't fit into her style and thar the lyrics were too dirty. The label company decided then to give the song to biggest female latin pop star back then- 32 years old Jennifer Lopez who achieved success with her second studio album "J.Lo". JLO'S managers refused the song without even giving chance to Jennifer to hearing the song and deciding whether she wants the song or not. I can see sexy Jennifer appearing in the video to Slave 4 U better than Britney did that. Unfortunety, we'll never be able to see that.

*On The Floor- the biggest JLo's song in her whole career, which let her come back to the top of music industry after a lot of failures simultaneously in musical and film career through 2006-2010. Her comeback is considered as one of the biggest comebacks in the history of this planet. The song using the samples from 1989's "Ballada" was primarily offered to 33 years old back then Nicole Scherzigner. The woman refused that so 42 years old Jennifer was lucky to have it.

MOVIES:

*The Wedding Planner- the rom-com from 2001 was a massive hit, earning 95 million dollars and hitting the 1st place in American cinemas simultaneously to Jennifer's second studio album which also hit the 1st place of best selling studio albums the same weeks. Till these days, Jennifer is the first and only person to do so. The hit rom-com was originalky meant for another Jennifer: 10 years younger Jennifer Love Hewwit. I think the movie would be a great opportunity to 22 years old Jennifer and it would have fit her style very much, cause she was the kind of actress who also appeared mostly in movies of kinds like this one. However, she appeared the same year with Sigourney Weaver in romantic comedy "Heartbreakers".

*Enough (2002)- the script for movie was specially made for Sandra Bullock who was supposed to play the main role. She didn't do so, so the producers had seen Jennifer Lopez as a 2nd best option for the role. It's one of the best Jennifer Lopez movies, I'm really glad she played the role in it.

*Love in the Times of Cholera (2007)- around 2006/2007 Jennifer decided to switch from unserious comedies to more serious movies. And she did that with her 2006's movies BorderTown and El Cantante. However, they didn't bring Jennifer the proper recognition and they went unnoticed in the cinemas becoming the potential boz office bombs. Jennifer was also extremely willing apper in this one movie, but she didn't make it.

*Lara Croft:Tomb Raider (2001)- there were several actresses of whom producers had seen as possible versions of Lara Croft. Ones of the biggest ideas for Lara Croft were Sandra Bullock and Jennifer Lopez. Unfortunetely, the role which could have been one of the biggest of Jennifer's career was given to Angelina Jolie. Personally, I love the movie but I wouldn't have mind if the role was played by my beloved Jenny from the Block.
