Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Talks His Dad’s ‘Tough’ Life Lessons

Last year, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson opened up about his relationship with his dad Rocky “Soulman” Johnson while promoting his film “Hobbs & Shaw.”

Johnson told “Extra’s” Terri Seymour, “My dad was tough. He only knew tough love. It wasn’t until I got older that I understood his hard road that he lived on why I was getting that tough love and I’m grateful for it.”

Dwayne also remembered his dad waking him up early in the morning to teach him life lessons, such as working hard and being proud of who you are. Watch!
