Arsenal are being heavily linked with Shakhtar Donetsk's centre-back Mykola Matviyenko. The Ukrainian played against Mikel Arteta's Manchester City twice in the UEFA Champions League and the Gunners' Head Coach is said to be a huge admirer of the 23-year-old.

The Premier League giants have needed to sign a top-quality central defender for as long as we can remember so could Matviyenko be that man?
