UPSC | Why You Should Prepare Mains Notes Before you Start Prelims Study?

UPSC | Why You Should Prepare Mains Notes Before you Start Prelims Study? This video is prepared to make aspirants aware that there is very little time for STUDY for MAINS after Prelims Exam. You get get time ONLY for the REVISIONS.

Considering 100 Days from Prelims to Mains, after immediate break after Prelims and time lost in Result Anxiety, we have come to following conclusion:
Total Days = 100
Buffer (Health, Functions, Moods, Break-ups, Uninvited circumstances etc) = 15
Number of Subject = 7 (Essay, GS I to GS IV and 2 papers of Optional)

Therefore, number of days per subject = 12 days/subject
Number of Tests of each subject = 4 approximately
Number of Days for Test = 2 days/subject

Hence, Study Time for Each Subject (Prelims to Mains) = 10 Days/subject

Please note, this is not to make aspirants cynical but to make them aware that this 2-3 months (Dec to Feb) are very crucial for Mains preparation as well.

All The Best :)
Happy Learning.
