“How the heck did I get here?”
Maybe this is more common as time passes, but we’ve all said it. From our memories we can see the vision we had for the future—a destination in the lens of a dreamy spyglass.
Then we open our eyes, it’s today, and we can’t believe how different the dream is from reality.
As mysterious as it seems, every moment, every decision, and every step was in the direction of the place we currently stand. The trajectory we took, however small, arrived us at the destination.
