Fitting a points crossover into established track PART 3

How to insert a point into an established piece of track. The same technique can be used for inserting a piece fo track. It is important before you ballast and fit the electric point motors that you test different locomotives as they are all sensitive to track in different ways. Also make sure the track is level with a spirit level and the joins are level too. This is a lot easier when laying track on to virginal base boards as it should all go down level to begin with.
