Advancing with Watercolor: Problems and Solutions - Building a Picture in Watercolor part 1 This video was created with the avid watercolorist in mind to address common problems that we encounter. Some solutions are demonstrated to help in dealing with specific challenges.In Todays episode I start a new project from a recent visit abroad to Venice Italy. The painting is a nocturne of a cafe along the Zattare. In this short video I develop a tonal watercolor as a step to developing a larger color watercolor. Tacking problems of design, paint consistency, and spontaneity as I develop the painting
In the next episode I will develop the painting in full color with a knowledge gained in doing this small study
