We just invented a device to prevent HAIs in hospitals by ensuring that people wash their hands

After seeing how many people are impacted by hospital acquired infections (100,000 die a year), an engineer and I decided to create a solution. The CDC states that consistent hand hygiene is the opportunity but enforcing hand hygiene has remained a problem. We are currently adding the capability for this device to sense hand hygiene at the sink as well. This video is the prototype. Please comment suggestions! We call this the Gel Zone Control Station.
