This video is part of a fundraiser for Walter and his aviary extensions so he has his own space which he doesn't have to share with rehab bats, who wind him up and upset him. Donation details below.
Walter is a very old Grey-Headed Flying-Fox who is in permanent care with a carer, after being retired from a wildlife park.
Walter is very very old (27). In the wild, 15 years would be considered a long life. Walter and Teddy (25) live in the geriatric wing of a carer's aviary, and are spoiled and cosseted.
Walter thinks he owns the entire aviary and carer (well he does really) and likes to have arguments with his mate Teddy. I call them "old fart fights".
This time Teddy had the audacity to sniff Walter's butt when he wasn't in the mood. The predictable consequences were Walter screaming and ranting and tottering off to nurse his outrage and grievances.

IMPORTANT: If you pay through the PayPal Giving Fund which is the preferred method of donating, can you please email Jenny with the amount donated and the name under which you have donated, OR just forward along the PP receipt.
The Giving Fund doesn’t charge any fees (so the bats get more money) but PP doesn’t itemise out the amount, they just send a total every month, and we don’t know if the money is for Tolga or for Megabattie.
