A trough of low pressure in South of Iran will affect Oman coast from November 19 to 22

The weather analysis in the National Multi Hazard Early Warning Centre has indicated that a trough of low pressure located South of Iran will affect the Sultanate

“The weather will be partly cloudy with chances of rain and occasionally thundershower associated with fresh winds, hail and flash flood from Tuesday evening over Governorate of Musandam, extending gradually to Al Buraimi, North Al Batinah, South Al Batinah, Al Dahirah, Al Dakhliliyah, Muscat, South Al Sharqiyah and North Al Sharqiyah.” - PACA 

The state will be moderate to rough along the coastal areas of Oman Sea with wave height ranging between 2.5 to 1.5 meters
