Meet Dr. Stella Flores, NYU Steinhardt's associate dean of faculty development and diversity. In this interview conducted by Department of Media, Culture, and Communication student Kate Slate, Dr. Flores discusses her biggest challenges, special talents and hobbies, and advice for current students.

In her role as Associate Dean of Faculty Development and Diversity, Dr. Flores manages faculty career development and helps academics achieve tenure. In addition, she evaluates and improves the climate of the institution to better serve the institution's growing diverse student and faculty body.
