General Chemistry Lecture 401 - Bio and Nonbiodegradable Pollutants

Biodegradable pollutants include domestic sewage, organic wastes, and drain out from residential buildings are degraded completely by micro organisms. Nonbiodegradable pollutants are aluminum, iron, mercury these do not degrade and pollute the environment. Recently it has been established that pollutants need not be material substances like electromagnetic radiation.
