Karly, also known as "Harley," takes a minute to warm up to new people, but once she does, you can physically feel the trust she has in you. It's fascinating to watch her little personality come out. She does best meeting calm dogs and is happy to share space in her future home with mellow canines. She walks well on leash and is comfortable in a crate. She is a great cuddler and will happily join you for a session of snuggles. She has been good around kids, and while interested in cats, is just curious and can live with them. Karly is cute and a great little dog.
In order to best understand her social ability, think of her as timid but willing to let other people pet her. When comfortable, she will approach slowly and sweetly. Since children are not as slow, she will do best without kids in her home. She is mellow around the house but is able to walk long distances. She is relaxed and easy in the car.
One notably thing is Karly is a champion snuggler. She loves to sleep under the covers and will always try to bury herself in covers. She gently paws for more pets and if you get up, will follow. She is an easy keeper. Not overly needy as if not snuggling, likely looking for some sun.
She came to us because her guardian could no longer take care of her.
