The 47-year-old actor seemed to be in great spirits and wore a light grey sweater paired with jeans. He carried a massive cup of iced coffee from his favorite brand, Dunkin' Donuts, and wore a black chain around his wrist with a circular golden charm. Hours before the visit at his exes home, Ben had trouble walking and appeared to stumble against a vehicle, suffering a 'sobriety setback' after leaving a Halloween party on Saturday night in Los Angeles. Share this article Share Ben wrapped his arms around a mystery woman while the pair waited for a ride outside of the La Peer Hotel, which played host to the Unicef Masquerade ball. He wore a white skeleton mask and a black suit and 'seemed to have fallen off the wagon' after he 'nearly fell before catching himself on the vehicle,' according to TMZ. In a video from Saturday night, Affleck and his lady friend can be heard asking the driver: 'We're right here; Where are you?' As the woman walks toward their vehicle, Ben stumbles and trips backward before grabbing on to the taillight of a waiting SUV.After grabbing his footing, Ben made his way to the backseat of the vehicle where his gal pal was already sitting. 'Sobriety is difficult and elusive for everyone struggling with addiction, and we're told Ben has acknowledged he's going to slip up from time to time,' TMZ initially reported, with Ben's representative also confirming to DailyMail.com. 'It was never as if this was simply behind him.' Just yesterday, Ben posted about celebrating 'over a year' in recovery after a few challenging setbacks in 2018. 'I have been in recovery for over a year and part of that is helping out others,' he wrote in a post confirming he's dating again. 'The Midnight Mission is an incredible organization that helps those in need with housing, training, development and recovery. I'm making a donation today because there are people battling addiction every day that don't have the resources and need help.' Ex-wife Jennifer Garner was at the ready to help Ben in August of 2018 as she staged an intervention before driving him to a rehab facility in Malibu.'This week I completed a forty-day stay at a treatment center for alcohol addiction and remain in outpatient care,' Affleck wrote in a post in October. 'Battling any addiction is a lifelong and difficult struggle.' TMZ reported that Ben has been attending 'wellness classes' in LA which focus on 'Buddhist ethics' and health body, mind and spirit.
