Gunmen invade Bayelsa state house of assembly during plenary session taking away the mace which is the symbol of authority.

Report says the invasion is connected to the unfolding leadership crisis of the legislative arm overpressure on the speaker Tonye Isena to resign to pave way for the election of the incumbent majority leader of the house of assembly Monday Obolo to take over as speaker.
