Welcome to “Artistic Endeavors,” a growing Contemporary Fine Art Photography Collection by Eric Christopher Jackson. This Journey began with a Curiosity for Art and a Question of how a person could change from Art Enthusiast to Artist. Experiments with Sketching, Drawing, Painting, even Ceramics led to frustrations and the need to move on. The random purchase of a point-and-shoot camera in 2004 slowly grew into a passion by 2007.
The following year was a dive into Digital Photography classes while 2009 became the beginning of a more solid foundation of the Craft. By 2011, the picture was clear on what needed to be done to grow into a legitimate Photographic Artist. However, the road was full of challenges and obstacles.
Nevertheless, over ten years of Digital Photography experience has been gained along with a better feel of what Style is desired to express myself. An improvement in Skills is still sought after while Passion for the Craft has not waned.
