On the night of Friday in Volgograd, a passenger car crashed an art object in the shape of a soccer ball dedicated to the 2018 World Cup. The incident occurred on Rokossovsky Street not far from Mamaev Kurgan. Police said that a few moments before the collision, the car at high speed flew into the oncoming lane, lost control and crashed into the concrete heritage of the mundial.
The 34-year-old man sitting at the wheel and his 33-year-old passenger were injured and were hospitalized. The causes of the accident are not called.
