Summers in the German countryside might be the best thing ever! We really love summers here and how beautiful the area can be. We decided to ride our fancy bikes along what used to be the wall between east and west Germany, right along the border of Lower Saxony and Thuringia. There's so much history around this area and it is so calm and beautiful now. Our destination for this trip was a great viewpoint with a small skywalk (spoilers: Deana is afraid of heights).
