Yeah I felt bad when I couldn't do it 2 months ago and I resorted to exploiting, because I'm trash at the game when it comes to boss fights, but on my vind alt I actually beat the snake before I got uber sigil and I beat big hoss when I was oni as vind as well on a side note.
