In the world of “Democracy” , it is often said that “Majority takes the vote “! Which is a simple way of saying that ultimately the majority of votes cast determines what direction would be taken for the common good of the rest. Well, commendable as a ‘democratic rule of government’ can be- especially when operated in a civil environment and society, God is neither a “Democrat” nor does His Kingdom operate on democratic principles. Quite honestly, God’s Kingdom simply operates on “THEOCRACY” - God ‘s singular choice and decision holds the day....irrespective of the seeming majority who may seek to disagree with Him. God’s WORD has the final verdict on all situations of life especially in the lives of His children. God does not need to campaign in order to win the votes of the majority like most politicians have to do today.Simply put - GOD’S WORD IS FINAL!SELAH. What this means for a child of God, is that you have no need to struggle to live your life in a way that the ‘majority of people’ around you support, affirm and vote for you before you can succeed in life!No!No! Your real responsibility is rather to live and conduct your life in such a way that it primarily pleases GOD, even when sometimes what that means is that you may end up displeasing some people in the process of pleasing God. “One with God is majority before men”! God’s singular vote on your side is all you need to thrive and succeed in every aspect of life.
