Last Thursday, as Tommy Robinson entered The Old Bailey for his sentencing for "causing anxiety to defendants as they entered court." Sky News reporter, Ian Woods, approached and asked Tommy about his asylum claim to the United States. Tommy responded in pointing out that he's about to be jailed for doing precisely what Ian just did to him. Ian Woods answers Tommy by calling him a "snowflake".
Really?! How the heck is it "a snowflake attitude" to point out to a fellow journalist that what he's just done to you, is EXACTLY why you're about to go to prison?
Tommy's response, as usual, was on point.
Tommy told Ian that he did nothing wrong by approaching and asking him questions; he was only explaining that is why he's about to be jailed.
Tommy's right; Ian did nothing wrong in approaching and asking questions. But the moment Sky News reporter, Ian Woods, decided to label Tommy Robinson a "snowflake", for answering his question with that fact, was the moment he crossed the line.
Ian mate, I'd like to see you in Tommy's shoes.
Imagine you were going to jail for what you just did there "causing anxiety to a defendant as he walked into court", the only difference is your defendant wasn't a child rapist, he was just a fellow journalist doing his job - the job you should have been doing that day.
I bet if you sent to prison for that, we'd never hear the end of it from all your mates in the corrupt mainstream media.
Sky News claims to "earn trust by behaving with integrity". Not really what we just watched.
You can hate Tommy, all you like, but he is undoubtedly NO "snowflake".
