Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups glutinous rice flour
2 cups dark brown sugar(or less)
1 tbsp annatto powder
1/3 cup powdered milk
3 cups water
2 tbsp lye water
1 tbsp vanilla essence(optional)
Procedure:
1) Bring water to a boil
2) In a bowl combine glutinous rice flour, dark brown sugar, annatto powder, powdered milk, water, lye water and vanilla essence. Mix it well
3) Strain cuchinta mixture
4) Divide cuchinta mixture into 5 equal parts
5) Steam for 10-15min.over medium heat
6) Cool cuchinta completely
7) Remove the cuchinta from the llanera
8) Top with grated coconuts or cheese
