Footage filmed at the border shows scores of Palestinians carrying a body, as ambulances and groups of paramedics are deployed on site.
Men setting ablaze tyres, as bulldozers drive along the border can also be seen on footage.
According to a tweet by the Israel Defense Forces, the troops opened fired after spotting two men reportedly planting an explosive device next to the security fence.
