Seoul willing to work with organizations to help N. Korea fight off COVID-19: Unification Ministry

정부 "민간•국제기구 대북방역지원 요청시 긴밀 협의"

South Korea would consider helping Pyeongyang fight off COVID-19,... if it receives an official request from any organization.
That's according to the deputy spokesperson for Seoul's unification ministry on Friday.
She said the nation is closely monitoring the situation across the border,... by sharing information with international organizations.
Seoul's basic stance is that inter-Korean cooperation is needed to cope with the epidemic,... and the government will consult with any organization that officially asks for South Korea's support to assist the regime.
However, so far, no such requests have been made.
