Miss Naomi Higgins, from Botswana, was a Form 2 student in her country when she wrote the examination for Form 3. She knew it would be tough to combine Form 2 work with Form 3 but she was determined to face the odds. An ardent viewer of Emmanuel TV, Naomi continued praying along with Prophet TB Joshua. Then she began to see the Spirit of God revealing things to her. Thereafter, God’s prophet appeared to her, telling her that she should have no fear, since she would make it. During the examinations, Naomi performed excellently, emerging as the only ‘A’ student in her school. While others were chewing away at their pens, she was smiling at herself as she waltzed through the seemingly tough questions. Naomi featured in the online news media, who were happy to celebrate her stellar achievements. In interviews with the newspapers, Naomi told journalists that she had been inspired by quotes from God’s servant TB Joshua and that she had put her faith in God. Mrs Ruth Higgins, Naomi’s mother, said she had had mixed feelings about her daughter’s decision to skip levels but had supported her because of her resolve to take the step after getting inspired by Prophet TB Joshua’s messages. An educationist, Ruth said that she had been experiencing stagnation before she started building her faith by following Emmanuel TV. Today the degree holder is overall head of teachers in her locality, some of whom are better educated than she is. Distance is not a barrier; keep watching Emmanuel TV and God will answer your prayers,” she advised people. On her part, young Naomi advised the youth, “Study as if everything depends on you; pray as if everything depends on God.”
