Public Health Preparedness Clinics help to ease workload on hospital staff: President Halimah During a visit to a clinic in Ang Mo Kio, President Halimah Yacob said Public Health Preparedness Clinics (PHPCs) are crucial as they help ease the workload on hospital staff during the COVID-19 outbreak. Almost 900 clinics have been reactivated to treat patients with symptoms like fever and cough. Mdm Halimah also visited a packing centre and spent time with volunteers from more than 20 MINDS beneficiaries. The Movement for The Intellectually Disabled of Singapore (MINDS) has partnered with volunteer group Be Kind SG to distribute 7,000 care packages for healthcare workers.
