Valencia centre-forward Maxi Gomez is the Devils have identified as the primary priority for next year. Admittedly it won’t do them much good for the rest of this campaign, but it should be comforting for Man United supporters to learn that the club are looking to improve their centre-forward for the next campaign. The injury to Marcus Rashford has come as a major blow this campaign, with Anthony Martial, Mason Greenwood and Daniel James all looking good as a supporting cast, but they haven’t shown they can step up and lead the club at this point in their careers.
