Example of how to use Laplace transform to analyze transient response of RLC circuit. In this example we transform the circuit in to S domain using Laplace transform (after doing steady state analysis to find the initial values of the current and voltage that are needed in Laplace Transform). Then we solve for the desired current using KVL and finally we use the S domain partial fraction expansion indirectly compute the inverse Laplace transform of the S-domain current to find the time-domain transient response of the (unknown) desired current.
