Editing Flymode Keys - to suit your needs

Here you see which script you need to edit and where to setup your own key bindings for your own preference.
This script is taken from Stephen Chapmans editing tutorial and jiggled to fit Mist.

Point to note, if you change direction keys remember the strafe settings too which use two keys ;)
Remember to save the table after your edits!
