Tension brewing in Cameron Highlands after authorities demolish illegal farms

Seven farmers were arrested by police after hours of standoff with police who went in to Kuala Terla in Cameron Highlands, Pahang to demolish illegal vegetable farms on Monday.

The operation, codenamed “Ops Lestari,” saw a total of 240 acres of farms being demolished involving 60 owners.
