At 95, M.K. Rasgotra is probably India’s oldest and among its most experienced diplomats. In this interview with The Print’s Nayanima Basu, Rasgotra says ex- Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru took the right decision to take the Kashmir dispute to the UN. His book, ‘A Life In Diplomacy,’ vividly describes how India’s foreign policy came into being after independence in 1947 under Nehru, who was his own foreign minister and how that era compares with Modi’s foreign policy today.
