Motion ( vector and scalar quantities, distance and displacement, velocity)

Motion ( vector and scalar quantities, distance and displacement, velocity) Hello friends,
Welcome to my channel gyan vigya with NISHA. In this vedio we study about
1.what do you mean by physical quantities.
2.scalar and vector quantity.
3. Distance and displacement.
4 velocity.
So let's start

Q. WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY PHYSICAL QUANTITIES?
A.
Those quantities that can be measured is called as physical quantities.Line :-length, mass, weight, etc.

A physical quantities is measured of Natural non living objects.

Physical qualities have numerical magnitude and unit. Ex:- If weight of a boy is 16kg, then 16 is numerical value and Kg is Unit of measurement.

Q. What do you mean by scalar and vector quantity?

A.SCALAR QUANTITIES :-The quantity that depends up on magnitude not the direction are called scalar quantities.
We can represent distance as scalar quantities.
VECTOR QUANTITY :-
The physical quantities that depends up on magnitude as well as direction are called As vector quantities.
We can represent it by putting arrow on their symbol.
Q. What do you mean bye distance and displacement?
A. DISTANCE :-
Distance is a numerical Measurement of how apart object Or point are . On the other word we can say that distance may refer as physical length.
DISPLACEMENT :-

A displacement is a vector whose length is tha shortest path Form initial position to the final position.

Velocity :--
The rate of change in position of an opject with respect to the Frame of reference and Is a function of time.
Formula = Displacement /time
Si unite= m/s

SPEED:-
Distance traveled Per unit time Is called speed?
Formula= Distance /time
Si unit =m/s

UNIFORM VELOCITY :-
When a body travelled equal distance in equal time is called a uniform velocity.
Example :-a train travelled 1 meter in 5 Sec, in next 5 sec it travelEd 1 meter, in next 5 sec it traveled 1 meter. Hence it traveled equal distance in equal time.

Non uniform velocity:-

When a body traVeled unqual distance in equal time is called as non uniform velocity.
Example:- a bus traveled 5 km in 1 hour, in next 1 hours it traveled again 6 km, in next 1 hour it traveled 5 km. Hence this motion is included in nOn uniform velocity
