Making an attempt to get myself to go in the water at a spring|swimming area in Florida One of the videos I like to put side by side with some of my swimming in the freezing water videos. I heard some winter swimmers say that it is easier going in the winter than the summer. I won’t touch an indoor pool unless the temperature is at least 86 degrees. I read somewhere that the US Navy requires a wetsuit if you are going to be in water under 86 degrees for over an hour. I think that applies principally to scuba diving. I can go one place where the water temp is close to freezing and have no problem going in. Another place, the water temp can be well into the 70’s degrees F and I would have the damndest time trying to go in. The place in the video happens to be an example of the latter.
