Hancock State Prison Transitions into an Evidence Based Program

Hancock State Prison Transitions into an Evidence Based Program Hancock State Prison is a level five facility that has recently transitioned into an Evidence Based Program. This allows offenders two participate in elective courses over a two year period that focus on allowing the offenders to find their purpose and learn more about themselves before they are released into society. Many of these classes are taught by offenders, which allow them to use their past experiences to help others. One of the courses includes Gang Renunciation, which gives offenders an opportunity to create a life outside of any gang activity.
