I guess I'm not a modern day feminist, though I'm still not sure I know what that even means. I can't help but notice that men and women are literally different, so it seems odd to me that people want to ignore such facts and promote an idea about us being exactly the same on all accounts, when that literally can never happen.
Nonetheless, my people, this Texas gal isn't talking exactly politics but more so observations of gents and ladies and how we interact with each other.
If conventionally women are the gatekeepers of sex because men are more inclined towards sexual encounters than women are, then I am braining on the idea that men are gatekeepers of the nest. I use the term "nest" here in the traditional male-female coupling definition.
I mean... you can nuance anything away as far as females nesting solo, polyamorous couples... etc etc... I'm just talking about a baseline here. A gentleman and his lady - fighting the good fight of trying to get along.
k bye
