Previously, the party defeated the Lord of the Dragovians in the Heavenly Dais and restored him to his senses. Then, Chen Mui told Davilas about his parents and his back story. Fantastic stuff. Now, the party will reexplore the Dragovian Sanctuary. The Dragovian Trials are now available, but the party will prepare for them more before they get started.
The party speaks with the attendant downstairs in the church (time 2:33). If they have not learned it previously, he teaches the recipe Timbrel of Tension = Sun Crown + Magic Beast Hide + Tough Guy Tattoo. However, he omits a necessary step: Sun Crown = Skull Helm + Saint's Ashes.
The party visits the item shop (time 5:01). It offers several useful ingredients. The party picks up 10 Devil's Tails at 200 gold apiece.
They speak with the item shop merchant from behind the counter (time 5:29). She teaches the recipe Dragovian King Sword = Dragovian Sword + Liquid Metal Sword. The Dragovian Sword is one of the rewards available in the Dragovian Trials.
One of the female elders in the Council of Elders has excellent information on Davilas's luck (time 7:10).
A scene takes place when the party opens the door leading towards the Heavenly Dais exit (time 8:50). Chen Mui speaks to Davilas some more. Sounds good, Granddad, but we won't be going to the Dragovian Trials just yet.
The party speaks to Chen Mui's attendant (time 10:07). They accept the standing offer to spend the night for free. Davilas speaks with Medea in his dreams. Yes, Davilas has had quite the fairy grandfather looking after him. That also explains part of his "luck".
In the morning, the party Zooms to Argonia (time 12:17).
In the bazaar building, they visit the item shop next to the Yggdrasil Leaf shop (time 13:11). They pick up a Tough Guy Tattoo for 2,400 gold.
Then, they open up the Alchemy Pot (time 13:28). They make a Sun Crown (Skull Helm + Saint's Ashes). They found the needed Skull Helm on the Heavenly Dais. To add to the recipe list, they combine the Sun Crown and a Devil's Tail to make a Skull Helm again. They make the Sun Crown once more. Then, they make a second Timbrel of Tension (Sun Crown + Magic Beast Hide + Tough Guy Tattoo). Handy.
The party prepares a lineup of Davilas, Morrie, Red, and Jessica. Morrie and Jessica get the Timbrels of Tension and Meteorite Bracers. Davilas also takes a Liquid Metal Sword.
Then, the party Zooms back to the Dragovian Sanctuary (time 16:58).
They head back to the Heavenly Dais (time 17:59). After some party chat, they hunt down some monsters to flesh out the bestiary. In the first zone, they hunt down the Hellspawn. Then, they hunt down the Democrobot and its constituent monsters: Head of State, Right Wing, Body Politic, and Left Wing. Note that the Democrobot is the only enemy in the game that drops a Gold Nugget.
The party exits to the second zone (time 25:50). There, they hunt down the area's last normal monster missing from their bestiary, an Unholy Bishop.
The party exits to the Lord of the Dragovians' lair (time 28:16).
They photograph the Lord of the Dragovians (time 29:16). This satisfies Challenge 137: "Cloud-dwelling Clan Leader". Challenge 137 is worth 3 stamps.
The party Evacs out of the area to the Dragovian Sanctuary (time 29:53). Oddly, Zooming out of the Heavenly Dais does not work.
They rest up at Chen Mui's house (time 30:29). Then, they save at the church.
Next time, they will work on a couple more photo quests.
